(CitizensOutpost) Tensions have been rising between North Korea and the US ever since Kim Jong-un performed a series of contested missile launches. Earlier in the week, Kim had four ballistic missiles fired into the seas near Japan. In response, US military chiefs are reportedly planning to fly B-1 and B-52 bombers which have the capability to equip nuclear bombs.
Simultaneously, South Korea and the US have begun their annual Foal Eagle military exercise program to send a strong message to North Korea over its recent actions. A military official reported that 300,000 South Korean troops and 15,000 US personnel are participating in this joint operation.
