N. Korea outraged over U.S. bombing drills in S. Korea

(CitizensOutpost) North Korea on Thursday was outraged over South Korea and the United States for “escalating nuclear attack threats,” noting the joint participation of U.S. strategic bombers and the nuclear-powered USS Carl Vinson within South Korea.

North Korea’s official news agency, KCNA, said a fleet of B-1B Lancer bombers from the Andersen air base on Guam made a stealth flight over the Sangdong firing range of South Korea on Monday for about an hour on a nuclear bomb-dropping drill aimed at making preemptive strikes at major targets of the DPRK. DPRK is an acronym for Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the North’s official name.

North Korea’s news agency has been reporting that Washington and Seoul’s military activity are evidence of preparations for a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK and that it has reached a “very dangerous phase.”
