(CitizensOutpost) It has not been long since Trump and Republicans pulled the rug from under the American Healthcare Act, but the President is making it a high priority to renegotiate.  With the Freedom Caucus standing in the way of a Republican majority Congress being able to pass a repeal and replacement of The Affordable Healthcare Act, Trump is taking his wining and dining tactics to the golf course with Senator Rand Paul (R-KY):

Paul later emphasized his upbeat mood on the subject, telling reporters that “We had a great day with the president. Played some golf, and we talked about a little bit of health care. I continue to be very optimistic that we are getting closer and closer to an agreement on repealing Obamacare,” The Hill reported.

Trump also tweeted about his time with Paul:

And reiterated his commitment to getting overhauled healthcare legislation passed:

The President will most likely be taking a slower approach to re-negotiating healthcare given the administration has shifted gears into reforming the tax code.
