WikiLeaks to provide tech firms access to CIA hacking tools in order to create security fixes

(CitizensOutpost) WikiLeaks announced Thursday they have more details about how the CIA has been hacking individual and company infrastructure which will provide the tools necessary for tech companies to fight back against this 1984-esque Orwellian surveillance state we live in.

The conference was held at the Embassy of Ecuador in London because Assange has still been seeking Asylum since 2012. ┬áAssange’s press release comes two days after the ‘Vault 7’ leaks were revealed.

“The Central Intelligence Agency lost control of its entire cyberweapons arsenal,” Assange said.┬á“This is an historic act of devastating incompetence to have created such an arsenal and stored it all in one place and not secured it.”

The actual technological weapons used by the CIA hacking has not been published because WikiLeaks doesn’t want┬á“journalists and people of the world, our sources, being hacked using these weapons.”
